Website design

Company websites built in code, for businesses that need to be found and hired.

Service summary

What you get
A site that loads fast, explains what you sell and turns visits into conversations.
Who it is for
Companies whose site brings no leads, or that have no site at all.

A business website has one clear commercial job: get someone who has never heard of your company to understand what you do, trust you enough to keep reading, and know exactly how to request a quote. When it fails at that, it is not a layout problem. It is a structure problem.

Why most websites don’t bring in leads

Three causes show up in almost every site review we do, and none of them is about visual taste.

The site is slow and people leave before they see it

Sites built with page builders load dozens of CSS and JavaScript files the page doesn’t use. The visitor downloads code for a carousel that isn’t on that screen, a form that lives on another page, an animation nobody sees. On a mobile connection, that is the difference between loading in one second and loading in five.

This isn’t just a bad experience. Since 2021, Google has used Core Web Vitals (in Portuguese) as a ranking signal. A slow site loses on both ends: it converts fewer of the people who arrive, and fewer people find it.

The copy talks about the company, not the customer’s problem

The homepage opens with “innovative, tailored solutions for your business.” The person reading has no way to tell whether that applies to them. A website that sells describes the visitor’s problem in the words they would use themselves, and only then explains how you solve it.

There isn’t a page for each thing you sell

This is the most expensive mistake and the least noticed. When the homepage tries to rank for everything the company does, it ranks for nothing. Google needs one page per search intent. Someone looking for a specific service needs to land on a page about that service, not a paragraph inside a list.

How we build

We write the code by hand. No Elementor, Divi, WPBakery or off-the-shelf ThemeForest theme. That has three practical consequences for you.

  • Each page loads only what it uses. One CSS file, one JavaScript file, one font. No weight from features the screen doesn’t show.
  • The HTML is semantic. Headings in order, navigation landmarks, form labels, checked contrast. That serves screen readers and Google’s crawler for the same reason: both read structure.
  • You’re not locked in. The code is yours, version-controlled and documented. If you ever want to switch vendors, another team can pick it up.

And you keep editing it yourself

Hand-written code doesn’t mean calling a developer to change a sentence. The site is delivered on WordPress, with the editing fields ready. You publish blog posts, swap images, adjust a paragraph and update a price without opening a file and without risk of breaking the layout.

The difference is where the complexity lives. In a page builder, every edit regenerates the page’s HTML and can degrade performance. In a hand-built theme, content is content and structure is structure.

What’s included

Every business website we deliver includes, at no extra charge:

  • Page and URL architecture defined before design, with one page per search intent.
  • Copywriting for every page, written around the reader’s decision.
  • Responsive layout tested from 320px screens up to wide monitors.
  • Structured data (in Portuguese) in JSON-LD: organization, services, FAQs, breadcrumbs.
  • Core Web Vitals within Google’s thresholds at launch, measured and documented.
  • A 404 page that actually returns a 404 status and offers paths forward, instead of redirecting everything to the homepage.
  • Sitemap, robots.txt, canonicals and Search Console configured.
  • A blog ready to publish, with categories and structured internal links.
  • A contact form with verified email delivery. Silent form failure is the most common bug on a new site.
  • Google Analytics and Search Console installed and validated.
  • Recorded training on how to edit your own site.

Timeline, and what depends on you

A business website usually takes four to eight weeks once the architecture is signed off. The technical work is rarely the bottleneck. The real timeline depends on how long it takes to approve copy and receive materials: photos, company details, service descriptions, legal review if needed.

We say this on the first call because when a project slips, it almost always slips there. Knowing that up front changes how you organize your side.

About pricing

We don’t publish a price list, and the reason is simple: a five-page business site and a site with a client login, a catalog and ERP integration are projects of different orders of magnitude. A price range on this page would look transparent without telling you anything.

What we do is faster. On the first call we map the scope, and you get a proposal with fixed scope, timeline and price. If the budget doesn’t fit, we tell you right away what we could do within it, or that we couldn’t.

How a project works

Four steps, in this order. Skipping the first one is the most common reason a beautiful site sells nothing.

  1. Diagnosis

We measure before we give opinions. Architecture, performance, crawling, indexing and where the journey loses people. The result is a list of causes, not symptoms.

  2. Architecture

We define the page structure, URLs, data and navigation before designing any screen. This is the step that decides whether the site will scale or become a patchwork.

  3. Build

Hand-written, reviewed and version-controlled code. No page builder, no off-the-shelf theme, no plugin for what CSS can solve.

  4. Measurement

Delivery is not the end of the project. We instrument what matters and review it in cycles: what isn’t measured isn’t managed.

Questions we always get

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the scope, and the scope comes from the diagnosis. A company site with a few pages is a different project from a site with a login area or a catalog. In the first conversation we map what you need, and you get a proposal with a fixed scope and timeline, not a generic price range.

How long does it take?

A company website usually takes four to eight weeks from the moment the architecture is approved. The timeline depends more on how fast content gets approved than on the technical work.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes. The site is delivered on WordPress, with the editing fields ready. You publish posts and change text and images without touching code and without breaking the layout.

Why not use Elementor, Wix or a ready-made theme?

They work for getting something live quickly. The cost shows up later: page builders generate excess CSS and JavaScript, which hurts Core Web Vitals and makes every change more expensive. In code, the site is lighter and you are not locked into a tool.

Is the site optimized for Google out of the box?

It comes with the technical layer done: URL structure, structured data, sitemap, performance and crawling. That is the prerequisite for ranking, not a guarantee — position also depends on content and authority, which are ongoing work.

Other services

Projects rarely stay in one area. Here is what usually comes along.

  • Web development

Custom web development, with no page builder and no off-the-shelf theme.

Code you can understand, audit and take with you if you want. No tool lock-in.

  • WordPress websites

WordPress in clean code: easy to edit, without the weight of a page builder.

You edit the content yourself. The site stays fast after every edit.

  • Custom web applications

Applications that run the business: dashboards, internal tools, integrations and automations.

The process that lives in a spreadsheet today runs with records, permissions and history.

  • Technical SEO audit

Audit and fix of the layer that decides whether Google can read, understand and index your site.

Clean crawling, predictable indexing and Core Web Vitals within the threshold.

  • AI search optimization (GEO)

Structuring content so ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot cite it.

When someone asks an AI about your market, your company is in the answer.

Tell us what is stuck. We’ll tell you what we would do first.

The first conversation is a diagnosis: you show us where you are, we point out what is holding you back and what would make a difference first. No commitment and no sales pitch.
